Good News From Prison

The most well-known parts of the Christian year follow the life of Christ, from Jesus’ birth at Christmas to the coming of the Spirit at Pentecost. The longest season of the Christian year, between Pentecost and Advent, is traditionally called “Ordinary Time.” During this season, we focus on “ordinary” Christian living, the good work of following Jesus’ teaching and patterning our “ordinary” lives more and more after God’s Word through faithfulness and discipline. Today, Pastor John continues our series on summer series with Philippians 1:12-30, “Good News from Prison.”
